What We Do & Why We Do It

McCall Winter Sports Club is dedicated to providing a personalized snow sports experience for each athlete. We offer a supportive environment, where our kids will build CHARACTER, develop CONFIDENCE on and off the snow and can CHALLENGE themselves to reach their highest potential.

We believe that McCall is an exceptional place for children to thrive while engaging in winter sports. With a rich history in winter athletics, it has proudly earned the title of "Ski Town USA." The McCall community has produced six Olympians, and MWSC envisions even more extraordinary talents emerging in the future.

While we aim to nurture lifelong skiers, our overarching mission is “Creating World Class Kids Through Winter Sports.” We recognize that winter sports serve as an excellent platform for developing remarkable young individuals.

Why Choose Us

The youth programs at McCall Winter Sports Club are thoughtfully crafted to cultivate the complete skier and rider, providing a comprehensive foundation for young athletes to grow and thrive in their sport. Participants will have the opportunity to master all-mountain fundamentals that are vital to their development, including key elements such as stance, balance, positioning, and edge pressure. These essential skills are not only fundamental to skiing and riding but are also highly transferable, empowering athletes to excel in whatever recreational or competitive path they may choose to pursue in the future. With a focus on building confidence and competence, the program ensures that each participant is well-prepared to tackle new challenges on the slopes.

Seasonal Programs

Our aim is not just to cultivate lifelong skiers and riders but to nurture exceptional young individuals through winter sports.

MWSC conducts training sessions on weekends at Brundage Mountain Resort and Tamarack Resort. Athletes enrolled in the U8 (Mighty Mites) and Development or 'Devo' programs have the option to select their primary ski area. In contrast, those pursuing a more competitive path will practice at both Brundage and Tamarack on weekends and at Little Ski Hill during the week.

Scholarships Available

Applications for scholarships are due October 15th. We firmly believe that every child should have the chance to chase their skiing dreams, regardless of financial barriers. Although there are costs associated with our program, we offer scholarship opportunities to ensure that no local child is excluded from the slopes due to financial constraints. Accessibility and inclusivity are core to our mission, and we are dedicated to making skiing accessible for all. Click the link below to download the form, complete it, and submit it.
